Hi Friends! As a co-founder of Proxi, I thought I’d put our own product to the test. I am so excited to share with you a video blog that I made of our trip. Proxi truly made this a memorable trip!

This was Ryan and I’s first trip without our pandemic baby and we were so excited to have the opportunity to reconnect for a few days. But because we are busy parents, we had little time to plan and research what to do on the trip…. so we turned to Map Your Idea!

I created a map a few weeks before the trip and posted the link on my Instagram stories! I added the link to my linktree and had a handful of friends who live in the area or have visited a few times add over 30 points. It was awesome!

When we arrived in San Diego, we first looked at the list of recommendations to plan our days. Then, we visited the different restaurants, parks, events, etc. that our friends suggested. They know us SO well. There’s no way we would have found most of these places using typical travel search engines.  Check out our vlog below to see how it went!
